So this is why we need a US space program with its own space launch capability. Or at least some robotic servicing system like DARPAs projects. I guess that would need to be a tad more sophisticated then is in the works now.
Fingers crossed. HST fundamentally changed how we view the cosmos. Such a shame to see it failing In the state our manned space program is in.
