Thanks for stumbling across my blog. Just Another Book Review is a place to discuss books I enjoy, some that I don’t, and other thoughts on life, the universe, and everything such as astronomy, bourbon, and astrophotography.


So, a litttle about me is probably in order. I’m a 40-something space geek that works for a science and tech company. In my younger days I was a carpenters apprentice, worked parts for a heavy equipment company, and eventually enlisted in the US Air Force. I’ve been all over the country and the world now, as well as spending time in pleasure spots such as Afghanistan. 


I’ve always had the bug for astronomy. I can remember getting my first telescope and looking out into the cosmos in sheer awe. I suppose that feeling has waxed and waned through the years, but has always been a big part of who I am. We bought our girls their own telescope and I see that same awe and amazement building in them.So enough about me. Read on and I hope you enjoy. Drop me a line if you feel inclined.
