A review of Homo Deus: A History of Tomorrow by Yuval Noah Harari

I have to admit, just the title puts the mural of Spaceship Earth in my mind. At least, that's what I'd hoped for.

It's a thought experiment in what comes next. Which fits my expectations. He looks at historic trends to come up with some ideas of what the future might hold. While I do agree that technology will inevitably become more and more integrated with humans organically, but it mostly felt like an attempt at a hard sci-fi diatribe from Michio Kaku. It think this was just a little lofty of a pursuit for him.

Hate to say it, but it's a solid 2-star read for me.
