A review of A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived: The Human Story Retold Through Our Genes

This work by Adam Rutherford was quite enjoyable, especially the second half that delved more into our understanding of the genome. And I actually find it refreshing that he discusses race, not racism. Far too many authors and researcher shy away from writing on it.

The rehashing of a lot of information that is readily available in other works bot in print and video form really felt like too much for me. I know it advertises this in the title, but I wish there was less info that's been hashed over so many times before.

What kept this a solid three star read was that it seemed like this turned more into a stream of consciousness talk that left me sort of like I didn't know the point of the book when I finished.
