I really enjoyed this one. I’ve got 2061 ordered, so I’m pretty amped for that to get here. This felt like much more of a “hard Syfy” read than I expected based off of 2001.
I’m starting to like/appreciate/get into the intelligence fostering idea here. I’m hoping the next two books get to the greater detail of “why”...as in why they picked the life they did? Certainly most biological life would eventually evolve to some degree...
Either way, I really enjoyed this story...it hooked me into finishing the Odyssey parts 3 and 4.
